Mary is a genuine and 'down to earth' psychologist who has been working at ACPC long term offering assessment and therapy services for children and adolescents, whilst supporting their families.
Mary is a passionate psychologist who is strongly committed to providing genuine care and assistance to children and families guiding them to enhance their quality of life and helping them to manage and better cope with challenging presentations. Mary aims to achieve positive outcomes through genuine understanding the needs of children, teens and families, continuous engagement and the implementation of effective evidenced based interventions. She is highly competent in delivering Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Psychoeducation.
Mary has gained extensive experience in working with culturally diverse children and families with a range of disorders and mental health issues. Her expertise lies in delivering individual therapy to children with various developmental, social and emotional conditions, specifically in the areas of anxiety, depression, anger management, emotional regulation and behavioural management. Mary also displays significant experience in helping parents understand challenging behaviours through management and psychoeducation.
Mary has completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology at the University of Sydney and has furthered her studies by attaining a Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology from University of Western Sydney. She works hard at furthering her skills through ongoing professional development related to child and adolescent assessment and intervention.
Mary is a nationally registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and is an associate member of the Australian Psychology Society (APS). She is a registered service provider under the Australian Government's Better Outcomes for Mental Health Care Program. The clinic also provides services for clients accessing National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Program.
Mary mainly provides online services via video conferencing.
