ACPC psychologists often work in collaboration with other allied health services and educators to ensure best outcomes for their clients. When it comes to delivering therapies, speech and occupational therapists as well as tutors and learning support educators may at times struggle to deliver their own therapies with clients to meet their treatment goals. Given that managing behaviours is not their 'core' training, some professionals and educators may often require a 'professional opinion' or 'advise' from experts on managing challenging behaviours to further understand their clients' needs in order to increase efficacy of their own service delivery.

PAS Service can be delivered via Telehealth (Video Conferencing or Phone) or via Email depending on flexibility and availability of both parties.
Psychologists providing the PAS guidance have set aside time specifically to discuss a specific case with you where they could be working with a client instead. Generally the cost for PAS is about $120 for a 30-45 min consult, which may be covered by the client's funding as a liaising service.
